SmartyGrants has released a new embedded reporting tool designed to strengthen grantmakers’ ability to track, analyse and report on funding activities.
SmartyGrants Analytics enables grantmakers to transform existing program data into live dashboards, improving access to information for program managers, finance teams and executive leadership.
The tool is intended to reduce the reliance on manual reporting processes and spreadsheets, offering automatic updates and configurable dashboards without requiring technical expertise.
SmartyGrants Analytics includes a suite of pre-built dashboards that track key metrics from programme and applicant data.
Users can filter information by funding round, program or applicant group, and can control access to sensitive data through role-based permissions.

Reports can be exported in multiple formats to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
The development of the tool comes at a time when grantmakers are seeking more efficient ways to manage increasing compliance, reporting and impact measurement demands.
SmartyGrants chief technology officer Sarah Barker said the tool had been developed in direct response to sector feedback.
“Grantmakers have told us they need faster access to high-quality data to inform funding decisions, monitor their activity, and demonstrate accountability,” Barker said.
“SmartyGrants Analytics has been built to meet that need, providing near real-time insights without increasing the administrative burden.”
SmartyGrants Analytics is available as an optional paid add-on to all existing SmartyGrants clients in Australia, with a UK release coming soon.
Further information is available at www.smartygrants.co.uk/analytics.
